Michael Cole introduces Pat McAfee now and he makes his way out to kickoff the nights show. McAfee apologizes for not being on the show last week as he shows a clip of Baron Corbin attack that left him injured last week. He goes on and says he remembers being roommates with Corbin while they were both rookies for the Indiana Colts and Corbin was humble then. McAfee promises to beat that humility back into Corbin at SummerSlam. Baron Corbin finally interrupts from the big screen as he taunts McAfee for talking too much. Corbin says he’s decided not to show up and beat up McAfee again until SummerSlam as he don’t want to hurt himself again. McAfee taunts him for being scared. He finally introduces Liv Morgan now for the first match of the night…

  After much back and forth, Jimmy accidentally gets sent into the referee and knocks him out. Dawkins rolls him up now but there is no one to count the pin. Jimmy hits a super kick and goes for the pin too but there is still no one to make the count. The Referee starts getting up now and Dawkins finally hits a power bomb on Jimmy for the pin… (the pin is a bit controversial though, as it appears one of Jimmy’s shoulders was up)

  After the match, Adam Pearce makes his way out now. Pearce says he understands why both teams are upset, which is why their Undisputed Tag Team Championship match at “Summerslam” needs a guest referee. “Jeff Jarrett” is revealed to be the special guest referee
