155 Nigerians repatriated from Libya

One hundred and fifty five distressed Nigerians have been repatriated back to Nigeria from Libya.
The Nigerians were assisted back in a voluntary repatriation exercise programme by the United Nation’s International Organisation for Migration (UN’IOM) on Tuesday.
According to Southwest Coordinator National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Mr Ibrahim Falinloye:”the flight, Al Buraq Air Boeing 737-800, with registration number: 5A-DMG touched down at the Cargo Wing of Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Ikeja, at about 4.38.
“The profiles of the Returnees indicates that 110 adults women including two who have critical health challenges, 15 female children and four female infants, along with 14 men, eight male children ,and four infant males arrived Nigeria aboard the flight.
“Some of the returnees demonstrated their joy for the success of their return back to Nigeria.
Agencies on ground to receive the Nigerians, were NEMA, Nigeria Refugee Commission, Nigeria Immigration Service, FAAN, and Nigeria Port Health Services”.
