Abd’Allah speaks on interest from Guinean side Horoya AFC

Wikki Tourists of Bauchi technical adviser Usman Abd’allah has disclosed that he turned down several offers from Clubs, including Horoya of Guinea to join the Nigeria professional football league side.

I’ve been getting a lot of offers lately too, I got an offer earlier this year before the league started in Nigeria from the club that eventually knocked Enyimba FC out of the CAF Confederations Cup – Horoya AC of Guinea, and they made a very lucrative offer and were really serious about having me. I had to turn them down though because their offer came in way too late.

I also had another tempting offer from another top club in Rwanda, and several others as well, and the opportunities are still there but i chose to take up the challenge of managing Wikki Tourists.

I’ve never gone in search or applied for any coaching job, ever; all the clubs i’ve worked with have always been the ones to approach me because they’ve seen the value i can offer. I believe i have a lot i can contribute to any club in the world, and i hope and look forward to an opportunity to prove this some day.”he said.

Abd’allah replaced Paul Aigbogun as the head coach of Enyimba international, he led the People’s Elephant to the Nigeria Professional Football League title in 2018/19 season with Enyimba.

The former Bayer Leverkusen star also led them to the semi-finals of the CAF Confederations Cup before he unceremonious departure.
