Nigeria’s national U-23 team will face West African neighbor Cote D’Ivore, South Africa and Zambia in the Group B of CAF U-23 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The Imama Amakapabo boys who are the defending champions booked their place in the Olympics qualifying tournament after their 5-1 aggregate demolition of Sudan in the last round of qualifiers last month.
The top 3 teams in the tournament will pick an automatic Olympic ticket football event while the fourth team will face an Asian team in the playoff.
Meanwhile, Group A is consists of the host nation Egypt, Cameroon, Mali, and Ghana.
The tournament will kick off on 8th November, while the final is scheduled for 22nd November 2019.
