Afelokhai bewails Enyimba’s CAF Confederation cup exit

Enyimba goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai has bewailed the People’s Elephants CAF Confederation cup exit after losing 2-0 in Conakry to Horoya AC of Guinea.

Enyimba was dumped out of the competition after a 3-1 loss on aggregate in a game that saw the host scoring  in both halves through Nigerian striker Bolaji Sakin and Malian defender Samasekkou Boubacar.
Afelokhai speaking in a chat with brila.net described the outing as a very bad day in the office for the People’s Elephant who had a mixed day not really been able to come up with their top game on a day it was so needed and been unlucky as well a couple of times in the encounter.
“It was a very bad day and I never expects such a result again and I don’t think our play was enough for us to win the day but that’s football and at the other side of it, whoever watch the game will know that we really have hard luck.
The game decided not to favour us again.”
