After the court has refused to grant the appeal and stay of execution suit filed by the other factions of the AFN, the technical Director Sunday Adeleye has affirmed that the Gusau-led board is actively in charge of the Athletics federation.

In a chat with brila.net, Adeleye stated that the Gusau-led board is working and still in charge of ensuring things are in order within the federation.
“Well Ibrahim Gusau is the president of the federation and Sunday Adeleye is the technical Director and we are working, of course, we have a judgment that favored us and recognized Ibrahim Gusau as the president of the AFN and of course you have seen the judgment that says the power of the president should not be undermined,” He told brila.net.
“We have started doing our job and also preparing our calendars for next year’s programs with other things pending the official resumption of sporting activities.
