Technical director of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria Sunday Adeleye has stated that he expects improvement from the athletes now that camping for the All Africa games is in full swing and concentration level now higher ahead of the fast approaching All Africa games next month in Morocco.
Adeleye speaking in a chat with www.Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid camping offers the athletes fresh opportunities to compete more despite having been seen during the All Africa games camping trials last month and expects the athletes to show their competitive edge with more trainings for all athletes in camp.
“So far so good it’s been exciting and you know you can’t use just one trial session in Abuja to assess the athletes the more they compete, the better they become. Of course we are excited that they have moved into camp away from their coaches, now they are in the hand of more exposed national team coaches that will actually work on them. And there is better concentration.”
