Agbim recalls time under Keshi and sobs for home based players

Ex Eagles goalie Chigozie Agbim has stated that the memory of late Coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles and 2013 AFCON winner Stephen Keshi is one that can’t be forgotten four years after his passing while taking a look at his influence on a number of home-based players.

Agbim speaking in a chat with  www.brila.net said he will always remember coach Stephen Keshi for also been instrumental in his national team career and wish he had the power to bring him back to life.
He added that his passing four years ago has been a big loss for a number of home-based players who would have also been beneficiaries of his believe and trust in the players in the Nigerian league.
“For us we will always remember not just in football but in life entirely, if there is one person we will want to bring back, I think he is the person to bring back to life but he is in a better place I guess.
It’s clear since his departure you can see how many home-based players that have found themselves in the national team unlike when he was around and when he was in charge not just me but the rest of the home based players will always remember him like if he is still around, there will be many home based players in the national team.”
