Assistant coach of Nigeria’s women national team and Dolphins women basketball club Peter Ahmedu has stated that he wants the Nigeria Basketball Federation to as a matter of necessity plan for the Nigeria Premier basketball league so as to ensure there is a good structure for domestic basketball in Nigeria.
Ahmedu speaking in a chat with www.Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid the league preparation and updates was not on even before the COVID-19 lockdown which isn’t too good as this will further jeopardize the possibility of having a good and well-planned league system both male and female.
“If at this time, preparation for the Nigeria league has not been made, and before the Covid-19 nobody was thinking whether there is going to be league.
But we hope that this will be also a lesson for us also to learn from our mistake and take our local league to the next level. “
