Aina in action as Torino end six game losing streak against Parma

Super Eagles full-back, Ola Aina got some minutes under his belt as his Club Torino played out a 1 – 1 with Parma on Saturday.

The Chelsea of England trainee came off the bench in the second half of the game as league action returned in Italy for the first time in over 100 days.

 

The game was played behind closed doors at Turin’s Stadio Olimpico, but it was full of actions as both teams had big moments to win the game.

 

Nicolas Nkoulo put Torino in front with a fine header after 15th minutes, but Juraj Kucka restored the parity for the visitors with his 31st-minute equalizer, thanks to an assist from former Arsenal man Gervinho.

 

Torino’s captain Andrea Belotti squandered a glorious opportunity to put his side back in front as he missed a penalty just three minutes into the second half.

 

Torino went close again but Parma goalkeeper Luigi Sepe denied Simone Zaza from the close range.

 

The game however ended in a stalemate and Torino finally brought their six-game losing streak to an end and they remain 15th on the standing and Parma moved to seventh place.
