Akwa united will amend Super six failure with Federation cup – Effiong

Captain of Akwa united FC Oto-obong Effiong has stated that the Promise Keepers have shifted their attention away from their failure at the  just concluded NPFL Super six.
The captain disclosed that they have their focus firmly on making amends with a smooth run to triumph at the Federations cup with their first March coming this weekend in Abuja against NNL side Sokoto united.
Effiong speaking in a chat with www.brila.netsaid the players were left distraught after finishing outside the continental positions and intends to make amends by ensuring they go all the way to pick the continental tickets by winning the Federation cup.
“We had so much expectations going to the Super six but it was unfortunate we couldn’t achieve our aim .
Now we are out, we couldn’t get the championship tickets, we couldn’t get the continental tickets. So now all our aim now is on the Federation cup which we believe will get us our continental tickets.
