Technical director of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria AFN Sunday Adeleye has stated that the athletes in the camp of the AFN in Kaduna are good to go and can’t wait for the commencement of the fast-approaching All Africa games in Morocco.
Adeleye speaking in a chat with www.Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid the athletes have been well-conditioned and the desire to rake in medals is clear although they have the athletes think more of sweeping Gold medals at the games.
He added that everyone is rearing to go and looking good to all win medals as no one looks like making the games without ensuring they win a medal or another.
“My athletes are in the right frame of mind and coaches are in the right frame of mind too, we are still staying focused, we are focussed on Gold. We’re counting days as well and can’t even wait to just get there.
With the level of preparation here in Kaduna, the athletes are actually working themselves out because nobody wants to go to the games without winning a medal.”
