An alleged Aiye cult group chief executioner, Biodun Adelokun, has been nabbed

An alleged Aiye cult group chief executioner, Biodun Adelokun, has been nabbed on his way to eliminate a member of the rival cult member in Ogijo area of Ogun state. The suspect was arrested by policemen attached to Ogijo  Police division who were on routine patrol. 

The team led by the divisional police officer of Ogijo police station was said to have accosted three men on a Bajaj motorcycle with registration number; KJA 778 QH at Fakale Road Ogijo, but on sighting the policemen, the suspects took to their heels. The police gave the fleeing suspects a hot chase and succeeded in arresting one of them with a bag.

When the bag was searched, a locally made pistol, a live cartridge, an ax, and assorted charms were recovered from the suspect. Ogun State police public relations officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi said:

“During interrogation, the suspect confessed that he is a member of the dreaded Aiye cult group and the chief executioner of the group. He stated further, that he was on his way with two others, to eliminate a member of another cult group who has been earmarked for execution by his group before he was arrested by the police “.

Mr. Oyeyemi said the commissioner of police CP Bashir Makama, has ordered for a massive manhunt for the fleeing members of the gang as and a  thorough investigation into the case.
