Anaezemba wants Abia Warriors to Improve

Midfielder Nzube Anaezemba says Abia Warriors need to start getting results as soon as possible after a poor start to the 2020-2021 NPFL season.

Abia Warriors lost against Akwa United in the league for the first time in six meetings last Saturday, the club also failed to pick a point against Enyimba and Rivers United respectively.


Imama Amapakabo’s side are scheduled to play Jigawa Golden Stars this evening and they will be hoping to secure their first three points of the campaign.


In a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comahead of the game Anaezemba, who has featured in every game for Abia Warriors this season, said the boys are determined to put an end to the bad run of results.


“For sure, enough is enough, are going out for win and we are fully prepared for his game.


” We can’t afford to suffer another defeat, we want to record our first win as soon as possible and see what happens from there,” He told


The match is scheduled for 4pm local time at the Aba Township stadium this Wednesday.
