Nigerian and Chelsea defender, Fikayo Tomori was one of Chelsea’s most outstanding players during their 1-0 loss to Valencia in Tuesday’s Champions League fixtures.
Tomori, who took on more responsibilities in his Champions League debut for the blues performed brilliantly against Wolves last weekend and scored his first senior goal for the club.
Despite the defeat, the former Derby County star got great reviews for his performance in Chelsea defence.
Crediting “Express” in their match review and rating, Tomori ‘Showed good pace to make an excellent recovery challenge and was keen to bring the ball out of defence, spraying passes around confidently.’
He was given a 7/10 ratings for a job well done.
Also, The Mirror emphasized on Tomori’s pace and his no-nonsense defensive attitude:
