Aribo, Balogun feature as Rangers continues impressive League form

Super Eagles duo of Joe Aribo and Leon Balogun were on parade for Rangers in the 2 – 0 win over St Mirren on Wednesday.

Aribo saw action for the entire minutes match of the match, but Balogun came on as last minute substitute as the Gers finished 2020 on high.


The victory at Simple Digital Arena was Rangers 19th from 21 league games this season and the Steven Gerrard’s also scored 56 goals, kept 16 clean sheets and tasted 0 defeats.


Kemar Roofe’s deflected effort put Rangers in front in the first half, before Alfredo Morelos added the second with cool finish in the second half.


Rangers are sitting comfortably on top of the table with 59 points, 16 points ahead of second placed Celtic, although Steven Gerrard’s side have played two games few.


Both side will meet in Saturday’s Old Firm derby and a win for Rangers could kill off any title challenge from Celtic.
