Asisat Oshoala is on the verge on making history again as the first African player to win the UEFA Women’s Champions League following Barcelona’s first-leg semi-final win over FC Bayern Munich.
Oshoala missed the rest of March after featuring in the historic 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid, but picked up an injury that kept her out for almost a month.
The forward was introduced in the 66th minute for Toni Duggan; 3 minutes after Kheira Hamraoui scored what was the only goal of the keenly contested match.
