Bournemouth midfielder Philip Billing has dismissed reports linking him with a switch to Nigeria from Denmark.
The young tough-tackling midfielder said he’s interested in switching allegiance to the West African Nation and only thinking about being successful with Dane national side.
Billing has played for the Danish U-19,U-21, and U-23 national teams but he is still eligible to represent Nigeria due to his parentage roots.
“The rumors came from nowhere. It would be strange to play for Nigeria when I feel one hundred percent Danish.
“Of course, I have Nigerian roots but I was raised and born in Denmark. It is Denmark I want to play for. That’s my big dream.” he said.
This is the second time the 23-year-old will be squashing reports linking him with the three-time African champions.
