Awka United coach Kennedy Boboye has advised against canceling the current league season come what may so as not to create a precedent of not been able to finish league seasons in Nigeria.
Boboye speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the organizers should see it through this time so that the league no matter what should still produce the true champion as against another abrupt end which would begin to create a perception on the image of the league and the ability to have the league come to a true conclusion.
“I think it is better for the league to resume so that we can get the true champion of the league. It’s not going to be a good thing for us because two seasons ago that was what happened when we handed the league to Lobi stars to represent us and if we continue with that as in doing that this time again.
I don’t see our league going that further in terms of gaining championship or been seeing the champion of the league. “
