Bolton Wanderers celebrates ‘Magician’ Okocha with Super Eagles inspired shirt

English Club Bolton Wanderers celebrated Nigerian midfielder Austine Okocha by posting his national team jersey on their Twitter handle.

The club described the former Super Eagles Captain as a magician while celebrating him with an international kit concept.

“🌎 We’ve got another International Kit Concept for you, Celebrating the magician that is @IAmOkocha, check out this Nigeria inspired Wanderers shirt! 🇳🇬💚” #BWFC 🐘🏰, the club posted with Okocha’s jersey.

Okocha joined Bolton Wanderers in 2002 after leaving French giants Paris Saint-German at the end of his four years contract.

The 1994 African cup of Nations winner proved to be an important player for the club as he helped them escaped relegation in his first season and was later named captain by then-coach Sam Allardyce.

As captain, he led Bolton to their first cup final in nine years where they finished runners-up in the 2004 Football League Cup to Middlesbrough and he made over 124 appearances for The Trotters and scored 14 goals in return.
