A teenage lad, Najib Abdullahi, and his younger sister, popularly called Yammata were yesterday abducted by suspected kidnappers at Malammadori Local Government Area of Jigawa State.

A witness told the sun that the suspected kidnappers came to the house of Alhaji Abdullahi popularly called ‘blacky’ on many motorcycles carrying sophisticated weapons in the middle of last night (Monday) and made away with the victims.
The gunmen after ransacking the town the settled at the residence of Alhaji Abdullahi who is a renowned bureau-de-change businesses operator in Lagos and abducted two of his children at Abuja quarters in Mallammadori Town.

Residents identified the victims as Najib Abdullahi and ‘Yanmata Abdullahi, who are both teenagers at Junior secondary schools, the source added.

In the attack, no one was killed because many residents were forced to remain indoors throughout the operation. This is the first attack on Mallammadori town but previous attacks occurred at the surrounding villages, the source said.

Jigawa State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Aminuddeen Zubair, said that the police received the report and would get back to the press when the investigation is completed.
