CAF Confederation Cup: Enyimba pip San Pedro, Rangers Beaten Again

Enyimba pipped San Pedro 1-0 in their second group D match of the CAF Confederation Cup and have now picked their first points of the campaign.

Martins Usule scored the winner on 64 minutes as Enyimba bounced back from 2-0 defeat against Hassania Agadir in the opener.

Enyimba now move to second in the standings pending the outcome of the Hassania and Paradou match.

Meanwhile, the second Nigerian team in the competition, Rangers are still without a win or a point after two games.

Rangers suffered back to back defeats in the group A following defeats to Pyramid and El Masry.

The Flying Antelopes lost 4-2 on Sunday to El Masry at the Port Said Stadium. It followed the 3-1 home defeat last week and now they seat bottom in the group.
