By Adeboye Amosu: Plateau United goalkeeper Okiemute Odah has been ruled out of Sunday’s CAF Champions League clash against Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia due to a harmstring injury, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Odah, who started the first round, first leg fixture at the Olympic Stadium, Sousse last Tuesday which the Nigeria champions lost 4-2, was substituted in the 12th minute due to the injury.
He conceded three goals before he left the pitch, while his replacement Dele Ajiboye let in one goal.
The former Lobi Stars goalie was also not included in the matchday squad for Sunday’s NPFL clash against Niger Tornadoes.
“I’m out of the second leg game against Etoile du Sahel due to the harmstring injury I sustained against them last week,” he informed CSN.
“I actually played the game with the injury and aggravated it early on.
“Now, I have to give Dele all the support and hope we make it to the group stage.”
