Former CAF Champions League winners, Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa have prepared for a carnival in anticipation of a victory over Nigerian side, Lobi stars in a crucial group tie.
Speaking with brila.net, Director of Communications at Mamelodi Sundowns, Thulani Thuswa expressed confidence that the South African giants had done the needful in terms of preparations and would ensure they get all three points against visiting Lobi Stars on Saturday.
“We are preparing for celebration and that is why we have top artistes who will perform. I don’t expect an upset even though they cannot be underestimated. This is because we know there are some teams one must play cautiously, carefully and with respect.
‘This is why we are taking this game seriously. we would mentally take this game like South Africa Vs Nigeria and hope to exert revenge.
The Pitso Mosimane tutored Mamelodi presently top the table with 7 points, same as Wydad Cassablanca of Morocco and a win would get them the required standard for qualification. Lobi Stars on the other hand could revive their CAF Champions League hopes by beating Mamelodi.
