NWPBL Champions First Bank BC have punched their ticket for the National Final 8 as they continue their chase for a record-extending 10th title.
The Elephant girls top the Atlantic Conference with a perfect 5-0 and 10 points, followed in second spot by last season’s breakthrough team, MFM BC.
2015 Champions Dolphins have also booked their place in the Final 8, leaving one spot left from the conference.
In the Savannah Conference, Air Warriors stunned many to climb to the summit; sealing a debut Final 8 ticket, while Customs come in second.
According to the league organizers, the last ticket in the Atlantic Conference will be between Delta Force of Asaba with 8 points and Sunshine Angels of Akure with 7 points from 2 wins.
Although Nigeria Army Amazons’ qualification is not yet guaranteed in the Savannah Conference, they hold on to third spot with Black Gold Queens on 8 points and Plateau Rocks on the 5th spot hot on their heels.
