Chelsea agree £12M Palace bid for Victor Moses

Former Nigeria International Victor Moses could be on his way out of Chelsea in the January transfer window, with one of his former clubs said to be extremely interested.

According to The Sun, the Nigeria international is a target for Crystal Palace, the team with whom he made his breakthrough in senior football.

However, the Eagles may face competition from another London outfit, Fulham, in pursuit of his signature.

Chelsea are likely to demand a fee of £12 million despite their number 15 being far from a regular in the side.

That the clubs now linked to the 27-year-old are both facing the threat of relegation from the Premier League this season is a mark of how far his stock has fallen since Maurizio Sarri took the reigns at the Blues in the summer.

Moses arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2012 but could not initially establish himself in the starting XI, being loaned out three times to Liverpool, Stoke City, and West Ham United.

Many thought his Chelsea career was over when Antonio Conte took charge in 2016, but a change of system meant that the Italian found a role for the ex-England youth star at right-wing-back.
