Premier League champions Chelsea have congratulated Nigeria forward Victor Moses for his goal in Friday night’s 1-0 win against Poland in an international friendly in Wroclaw.
Moses converted a 61st minute penalty after he was brought inside the box.
Apart from Moses, Chelsea also hailed Willy Caballero for making his debut for Argentina in their 2-0 win against Italy on Friday and Olivier Giroud for scoring in France’s 3-2 home defeat to Colombia also on Friday.
“Willy Caballero made his Argentina debut, while Olivier Giroud and Victor Moses both scored for France and Nigeria respectively!
“It was a good night for our Blues!” the club wrote on their verified Twitter handle on Saturday.
Next stop for the Eagles is London where they will face World Cup-bound Serbia in another international friendly on Tuesday.
The team is expected in London today (Saturday).
