Chelsea Coach who Mourinho almost beat up Apologizes to Man United Boss

Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho almost came to blows with one of Chelsea’s Assistant coach on Saturday during the side’s Premier League clash.

Mourinho, who twice managed at Chelsea, was furious at the assistant coach Marco Ianni, who celebrated and jeered in the direction of the Portuguese while he was seated in his technical area after Chelsea leveled the scoreline late in the game.

The Blues, playing at the Bridge had went ahead in the first half with a goal from center back Antonio Rudiger.

However in the second half, United came out fighting and overturned the deficit through Anthony Martial. The Frenchman scored minutes later to hand the visitors a rare chance of walking away with three points.

But it wouldn’t end that way as Ross Barkley fired home from 6 yard and in stoppage time to bring the score level.

Speaking to reporters after the match, the Manchester United Boss said about the incident that, “What happened was with Sarri’s assistant and Sarri was the first one to come to me and to say that he would resolve the problem internally with him.

“And after that his assistant came to me in Sarri’s office and apologized to me, which I immediately told him “if you really feel that way and you want to apologize, of course I accept apologies, and forget it because I also made lots of mistakes in my career, so I’m not going to kill you because of one.

“It is over, he apologized and I accepted,” the Manchester United Manager explained.
