Super Eagles forward Samuel Chuckwueze was in action for Villarreal as they lost 2-1 to Eibar on Thursday.
Chukwueze played the entire minutes of the game and failed to rescue the yellow submarine outfit from last gasp defeat.
The first 45 minutes ended without a goal, as both teams struggled to create meaningful chances.
However, match finished in spectacular fashion, after three goals in the final 30 munites turned the fans on and the game on its head.
The home side took the lead in the 62nd minutes through Like, but Gerrard Moreno leveled proceeding with just two minutes left.
When Villarreal though they have earned a point from the game, Fabian Orellana grabbed the winner for Eibar.
Chukwueze and his teammates will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways when they take on Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.
