Chukwunonye drums support for Falcons despite been dropped

Super Falcons defender Josephine Chukwunonye has affirmed her support for her colleagues in the women national team and she’s wishing the team all the best at the FIFA women’s world cup which begins today in France despite been dropped from the final list of 23 players for the women’s world cup.

Chukwunonye speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said she hopes the team will be able to prove their mettle and take on teams at the world cup while praying that they go all the way at the world cup.
She also sent a special shout out to returnee former captain of the team Evelyn Nwabuoku who eventually made the 23 players world cup list despite having been frozen out of action for about 3 years.
“Despite the fact that I am not there, I will always wish them the best and to the team, they will always do what they know how to do best winning games as it comes.
“I believe in every one of them, I believe what they are capable of and to my friends in the team, I wish them all the best especially Evelyne Nwabuoku who is now back in the team. I’m wishing her all the best.”
