Coach Biffo released by kidnappers

Head coach of Nigeria Professional League Football (NPFL) side Katsina United, Abdullahi Biffo has regained his freedom from the captivity of kidnappers on Wednesday.

 

The embattled coach has been missing for close to three weeks with the previously denied the reports of his abduction and said he traveled to Germany.

 

Cornerstonenewsng.comgathered that the kidnappers had slammed a ransom of N15m on the former Abia Warriors gaffer.

 

 

Following his release, Biffo has returned to Kano where he is recovering from the traumatic ordeal which came as a shock to the football family.

 

A source told Brila.net’s Seyi Alao that the ransom of N5m was paid before the coach was set free.
