Coach Ibrahim Musa returns to Kano Pillars

NPFL giants Kano Pillars have reinstated Coach Ibrahim A. Musa back to the team after a long spell on the sidelines.

Kano Pillars made Coach Musa a scapegoat after losing the 2018 Aiteo Cup final to Enugu Rangers in one of the most epic finals ever seen as Enugu Rangers came back from three goals down to win the game on penalty kicks.

Speaking immediately after signing the contractual agreement at the club’s secretariat, the soft-spoken gaffer told the media that he was glad to be handed another opportunity to right the wrongs of last season.

“I want to thank the government of Kano state and also the chairman of the club, Alhaji Babangida Tukur for this rare opportunity to redeem my image and that of the club as I have vowed to work with the players and make sure we surpass the feat of last season”.

Kano Pillars came third on the NPFL last season while they lost scandalously to Enugu Rangers to place second in the AITEO Cup.

“We have every chance to win the double this season based on the types of machinery we have on ground while all I want is the maximum support from the fans and players of Kano Pillars,  for those that I offended please forgive me and those that offended me, I have forgiven you, all we need now is to work together and take Kano Pillars to it’s rightful place,  he concluded”.
