Tanzania national team coach Emanuel Amunike has tipped star-studded Senegalese team to win the 2019 African Cup of Nations starting on Friday in Egypt after comparing them with the 1994 Super Eagles squad.
Amunike told www.brila.net that, the Taifas Stars of Tanzania are going to face top teams in Algeria and Senegal based on the qualities they have both home and abroad.
”When I look at the Senegalese team in our group, I remember our time with the Super Eagles, you can count countless of stars in the team, everyone if given the opportunity can deliver.
“I think that’s how Senegal are right now, the Algerians also have a lot of quality players both home and abroad, the Taifas stars Manager told brila.net.
He further stated that they need not to give excuses saying they qualified the same way as others in the group which means every 24 countries has equal opportunities to win the trophy in Egypt.
Meanwhile, the former Barcelona forward believes the Terranga Lions of Senegal have the qualities in their squad to win the title in Egypt.
