A near perfect night for Steph Curry turned out to be a not so good one for Al-farouq Aminu in game 1 of the Western Conference Final in Oakland.
Curry tied his playoff record for threes on his way to dropping 36 points in Golden State Warriors’ 116-94 win over Portland Trail Blazers, and there was only little that Aminu and other Rip City stars could do.
The Nigerian got 18:41 minutes on the floor and he showed up with a meager 3 points 2 assists and 5 rebounds in his first WCF game.
Portland are making their first WCF appearance in 19 years.
Warriors host game 2 before the series moves to the Moda Center for game 3 of the series.
