Dauda okays AFCON title pressure on Rohr

Atromitos of Greece and Nigerian striker Abiola Dauda has stated that the target of having to win the next Africa cup of nations handed by the Nigeria Football Federation to Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr is a good enough condition.

Dauda speaking in a chat with  Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid the challenge to be at the top and win titles is always an onerous one but believes this will be the driving force for the coach, the players, and Federation officials too to ensure that everyone on board is working towards the common goal of realizing these objectives and turn the pressure into positive energy.
“Football now is a lot of pressure and if you want to be at the top to play at the top level to win titles, the pressure must be there and in terms of the national team where our coach has a new contract, I think it is not only him that is feeling the pressure, this also falls on the players, the staffs and everybody that is around the Super Eagles and also from Nigerians as well and you know everything works hand to hand.
It becomes like a puzzle. If the whole thing cliques and everyone has a common goal, I think they can turn this to positivity.”
