Nigeria and D’Tigers player Vincent Nnamdi has stated players of the national team are not under pressure although fully aware not all will feature for Nigeria at the fast approaching FIBA world cup which starts this weekend in China.
Nnamdi speaking in a chat gathered by brila.net said the pressure on who makes the final roster is on the coach who had the toughest decision in deciding those that will represent Nigeria at the world cup in China.
He added that players are more concerned on how best to represent Nigeria than worry on who makes the list or not.
“I don’t think there is any pressure. I think the biggest pressure is on the coaching crew to take that decision. Like I said, we have a lot of great talent, great athletes here so it will be a tough decision for them to make.”
“We have a lot of confidence. We are a confident group and we definitely looking forward to be in China”
