Egypt 2019: Eagles not scared of any team – Ndidi

Wilfred Ndidi has stated ahead of tomorrow’s clash against Zimbabwe in Asaba that the players are not scared of their opponents, and as such will step into the pitch and do the business, ahead of Saturday’s pre-AFCON send forth international friendly with the Super Eagles.

The Zimbabwean players later today, after touching down in the country yesterday, will hold their official training session at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, venue of Saturday’s encounter that begins at 6 pm.

Zimbabwe will campaign in Group A of the 32nd Africa Cup of Nations finals taking place in Egypt 21st June – 19th July, alongside host nation Egypt, Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. Nigeria is the seeded team in Group B that also has Burundi, Guinea, and Madagascar.

Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s encounter, Did I added that the better side will emerge victorious, while he believes the players are not scared ahead of the matches ahead, even as he will continue to play his game which he hopes will help Nigeria emerge victorious.

“It’s football, we just have to go to the pitch to do what we can do what we know how to do best and the better side will win”.

“I don’t think we are scared because of the games:

“I just try to take things easy, study the type of plays around me and try to adapt to the environment”.

After Saturday’s game, the Nigeria contingent will fly to Egypt on Sunday aboard a chartered aircraft, for another week of intensive strategy and tactics perfection.

The NFF must submit the final list of 23 players to the Confederation of African Football by Tuesday, 11th June.
