Enyimba striker Bashir reveals Covid-19 boredom

Enyimba striker Abdulrahman Bashir has revealed that he truly misses football and his colleagues during this Covid-19 induced lockdown and has stated that he just can’t wait to see the end of the lockdown which has breed boredom and made players train alone in the process.

Bashir speaking in a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid the lockdown has been tough on players who have been completely rendered jobless and idle for the time and only have to train to keep in shape as against training together as a group for games.
He, however, added that players still check on one another by communicating on social media.
“We can’t wait until this Covid-19 ends, everybody VI’s training on his own. We are still training, everybody is training in his own way so we cannot wait until we resume.
To be alone is not really good for us footballers. So honestly I miss my colleagues and I know they will miss me too that’s why we communicate on social media because we can’t see each other for now but we communicate on social media well.”
