Ex-International Ifeanyi Udeze confident of Super Eagles’ victory over Libya

Ex-Nigeria International, Ifeanyi Udeze has expressed his absolute confidence in the Gernot Rohr-led Super Eagles team ahead of Tuesday’s clash with Libya in Sfax, Tunisia.

Speaking after his popular Breakfast Show via Brila FM known as ‘Udeze’s Diary’, the former West Brom defender said he is very sure the Super Eagles will come out victorious in Sfax.

 

The former World Cup defender, however, warned that the Eagles must play more as a team especially in Midfield where the strength of the Libyans lies.

 

“I’m very sure Eagles will not lose tonight”

 

“You could see from the last  Saturday’s encounter, Super Eagles will be victorious tonight” Udeze stated confidently.

 

Udeze was a member of the Super Eagles set up at the Korea/Japan 2002 World Cup has rated the National team under Coach Gernot Rohr highly with expectations that the team will make it to Cameroon 2019.

 

The Super Eagles on Saturday trounced the Libyans 4-0 in Uyo with Chanchung Yatai’s Odion Ighalo bagging his first ever International hattrick, while Bordeaux’s Samuel Kalu also scored his first International goal for Nigeria.
