Ex players will add immense value to the NPFL, if allowed to sit in administrative positions of the league body; LMC, according to ex player and former Shooting Stars Coach Fatai Amoo.
While the NPFL has seen some improvement over the years through the League Management Company, Amoo insists more can be achieved – especially for players and clubs – if the door was open to professionals with experience in the game.
On Brila fm’s Breakfast show, the former National team Coach argued for the inclusion and integration of Nigeria’s best minds to help accelerate the growth of the country’s top division.
‘Repackage the league, bring in ex internationals who have seen it all. Experience is not bought.
‘Success is guaranteed with ex internationals who are objective; not the selfish ones, open-minded individuals who will contribute to the league,’ Amoo said.
