Super Falcons defender Faith Ikidi has stated that she hopes to see the Nigeria women national team continue their scoring form at the 2019 FIFA women world cup in France two days after the Falcon’s 5-1 thrashing of Hungarian side Haladas Viktoria in their penultimate friendly before the world cup.
Ikidi speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the team have shown their attacking edge and hope this won’t stop at the ore world cup games but one that should continue and hopefully help the team at the world cup in France.
“We are scoring goals and we have also shown that we can score. The games we have played are good enough games to adequately get us set for the challenge of playing at the world cup.
“No team is small and we concentrate on also scoring and doing well at the world cup.”
