Father of Super Eagles Striker urges him to Move to “Bigger Team”

Nigeria International Simi Nwankwo has received advise from his father to seek bigger ambitions away from Crotone.

Simi, who earned his first Nigeria cap in May against DR Congo, will return to Italy with the modest club after his World Cup outing with the Super Eagles in Russia.

The 26-year-old forward is valued at just over €1million, but has continued to show improvement in his ability to score goals and be central figure in attack.

As per SCORENigeria the player’s father, Ebo Nwankwo said about his Son’s potential move away from the relegated Crotone, “I’m his father quite alright but the issue of possible summer move away from Crotone is not in my hands.

“That role rests on his intermediary and himself. But if he asked for my candid advice as his father, I will ask him to leave Crotone to a much bigger team and essentially where he would enjoy more and regular playing time.”
