Flamingoes coach Olowookere thumbs up FIFA U17 world cup postponement

Coach of Nigeria’s U17 women national team Bankole Olowookere has thumbed up FIFA’s decision to reschedule the FIFA U17 women world cup.

Olowookere speaking in a chat with www.Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid the postponement also means that nations will have time to buy time that has been lost to the almost global lockdown of cities during the thick Covid-19 scourge and also allows for more time for teams to prepare and see things come back to shape.
“The postponement is okay because this Covid-19 is not a thing that anybody can toy with, it’s not just about Nigeria alone but other nations as well.
“So, it’s better we let the coast to be clear before any other thing for the safety of everybody.  With this now is a long time for everybody and for everything to come to shape.
