Former Ghana and Chelsea Star Essien names One Nigerian in his African XI of the Decade (and you can Guess Who)

Former Ghana Black Stars captain Michael Essien has named Vincent Enyeama in his African XI of the decade.

Essien, who played for Ghana between 2002 and 2014, was also famous for his time in France and England with Lyon and Chelsea respectively.

 

The 37 year-old listed a few interesting names in his best XI including Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Mehdi Benatia and Liverpool duo Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

Goalkeeper: Vincent Enyeama.

Defenders: Kolo Toure, Mehdi Benatia, Kalidou Koulibaly, Benoit Assou-Ekotto.

Midfielders: Michael Essien, Yaya Toure, Sadio Mane.

Forwards: Mohamed Salah, Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto’o.
