Former U-23 player charges Imama’s boys to remain focused

Former U-23 Player and Portosantense of Portugal star, Iroha Chukwuebuka has charged the present crop of U-23 team players to remain hardworking.

Iroha who won the Africa U-23 championship under coach Samson Siasia before being dropped just before the Rio 2016 Olympics told brila.net that the U-23 platform remains a good launch pad for the players while noting that he gained a lot playing under Siasia.”
My advice to the U23 is that they should be determined and hard working. I learned a lot while I played under Siasia because he made me a better player.
I haven’t worked with Coach Imama but I believe he must be exceptional to have landed the job in the first place. I hope they follow the instructions of the coach and also work hard personally.”
The Nigerian U-23 team is currently tutored by coach Imama Amapakabo and will face Libya in a 2-legged encounter as the qualification series for the 2020 Olympics looms.
