Gambo Mohammed backs Rohr led Eagles for AFCON success

Former Super eagles player Gambo Mohammed has backed the Gernot Rohr-led Eagles team for success at the forthcoming African Cup of Nations holding in Egypt.

Gambo told www.brila.net in an exclusive chat after his club Kano Pillars won their first round of 64 Aiteo game in Abuja, that he is backing the German’s approach to football and his choice of players.

”I like the way the super eagles are playing now, even though the coach don’t like the home based players but that’s his choice because every coach has their own decision to make,

“All the same, I’m wishing the team success in the upcoming AFCON” the former super eagles forward concluded.
