Since the World Cup in Russia, Super Eagles Head Coach Gernot Rohr have shuffled and shared minutes between his three goalkeeper, however, the German admits he’s undecided who his number choice for the AFCON will be.
Recently, in the friendly against Zimbabwe Daniel Akpeyi was between the sticks for 90 minutes while Ikechuwku Ezenwa and Francis Uzoho watched on from the bench.
Speaking in an interview on the team’s official YouTube page, Rohr admits the decision of who will become first choice won’t be made until after the team’s camp is concluded – now currently in Ismailia.
“We don’t know yet which goalkeeper is the number one; we’ll decide after the last weeks of preparations. But there are three good goalkeepers and we trust in them,” Rohr explained.
