Golden Eaglets Must Learn Tactical Discipline – Ugbade

Golden Eaglets assistant coach Nduka Ugbade has emphasized the need for his team to be tactically disciplined as they prepare for the FIFA U17 World Cup tournament.
The Golden Eaglets will fancy a 6th world cup title when they begin their World Cup campaign in Brazil. They are placed in Group B alongside Hungary, Ecuador and Australia.
Ugbade maintained that there will be no room for complacency as no country should be underrated. He concluded that adequate preparation, tactical discipline and team syncing will be key in ensuring that the youngsters compete favourably in Brazil.
“The most important thing actually is to know that the competition is in Brazil a footballing nation, so you can’t go there with a participating heart, you have to go there with a competing mentality so that we are able to compete there at the highest level of the U17.”
The draw ceremony for the cadet World Cup at FIFA’s house saw Nigeria drawn alongside the trio of Ecuador, Hungary and Australia in Group B, while Africa’s second representative, Cameroon tackle Spain, Argentina and Tajikistan in Group E.
Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets will be looking to return to winning ways after missing out of the 2017 edition in India.
