Assistant coach of Nigeria’s U17 national team Jolomi Atune has stated that the Nigeria U17 team is currently waiting for the NFF to approve a substantive date for the team’s resumption of camping ahead of preparation for this year’s U17 AFCON.
Atune who also doubles as U15 national team coach told www.brila.net that the coaches have been in communication with each other as well as talking to the players too but that no date has been communicated yet although remain hopeful of a response because the head coach Manu Garba submitted his program with 3rd of January proposed which has already passed.
Nigeria will be competing at the CAF Africa U17 cup of nations this year after missing out of the 2017 edition of the tournament.
