Detectives from Ilasamaja Police Division of the Lagos Command have uncovered an uncompleted building where suspected robbers use as their armory.

Two pistols and 15 rounds of ammunition were discovered hidden in hijab.
The house, which the police said is an uncompleted building is located along Mushalashi street, Ilasa.
It was learned that the guns and ammunition were rapped in a cream-colored hijab and kept in a brown bag.
It was learned that though nobody was arrested detectives were keeping a close watch on the house where the guns were found.
A senior police officer who spoke on the condition of anonymity as he was not supposed to speak said the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ilasamaja Division, CSP Oroyomi Oluwasanmi, got a privilege information that some armed robbery suspects were keeping their guns in an uncompleted building preparatory for an attack.
The officer said based on the information, the Divisional Police officer, along with her strike team stormed the house.
He said that on arrival, the DPO directed her men to carry out an intensive search within and around the premises.
“Two pistols and about 15 round of ammunition were recovered. All the arms recovered have been handed over to the Area Commander Area D, Mushin” he added.
He said the woman DPO has transferred the suspects to Area D Police command.
